Hatch House
A Beautiful Country House & Wedding Venue in Wiltshire
Hatch House is the family home of Sir Henry and Lady Rumbold and it’s set in the heart of the Wiltshire countryside with incredible views across the Vale of Wardour. It provides the perfect setting for a secluded country wedding, whatever the style.
Armorial gates at the top of the main drive lead into a lofty avenue, which sweeps down to the house and garden. It’s the perfect way to arrive at Hatch where everyone is tucked out of sight in this incredibly private and romantic setting. The house’s theatrical façade faces the exquisite 17th Century walled Dutch garden, which has two tiers of lawn framed by herbaceous borders. Lady Rumbold has always regarded the Dutch Garden as “the best room in the House.”
The Rumbolds enjoy sharing their spectacular house and garden for weddings and other events. Hatch is an incredibly flexible venue and as well as weddings, has been the backdrop to the international ballet event Ballet Under the Stars for well over a decade, to festivals, fairs and open air theatre.
